The upgrade follows earlier improvements such as the implementation of DCS and ESD systems, marking another significant technological advancement. In 1990, the plant imported large-scale natural gas cryogenic separation equipment from Germany, capable of processing 1 million cubic meters of gas per day. The system included critical components such as gas turbines, raw gas compressors, expanders, and propane compressors. The total investment amounted to 154 million yuan, enabling the purification of associated gas and the recovery of light hydrocarbons. Over the years, continuous modernization efforts have ensured that the plant’s technology remains at the forefront of domestic standards, further improving efficiency and safety in operations. These advancements reflect the plant's commitment to innovation and operational excellence in the energy sector.
