Carol Stream Still Alarm 10-2-13

I was at Carol Stream when a report of a house fire came in, and I responded with the companies. The police mentioned smoke visible from the street. Battalion 28 from Carol Stream confirmed there was light smoke at 409 Thunderbird Trail, which is within a mile of Station 28.

The crews handled a small fire using a pump can. The call came in shortly after the shift change, which explains why some firefighters weren’t in full gear and were helping the on-duty teams.
