From the Hampshire Fire Protection District:
The Hampshire FPD responded to a serious vehicle accident involving a car that crashed into a tree on Harmony Road, just north of Kelley Road, earlier this afternoon on November 2nd, 2018. The incident caused significant damage to the vehicle, and emergency crews worked quickly to extricate one injured individual. The patient was transported to an Elgin hospital with critical injuries. Due to the high volume of calls happening simultaneously, we received mutual aid from the Burlington and Pingree Grove Fire Protection Districts to assist with the response.
