On April 25, 2006, the Shaanxi Fast Group successfully rolled off the production line in Xi’an a new heavy-duty vehicle transmission model, the 16JS200T. This significant milestone was celebrated by Professor Guo Konghui, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with officials from the Shaanxi Provincial Government, who expressed their congratulations and support for the company’s technological advancements.
The 16JS200T is a newly developed transmission designed to meet both domestic and international market demands. Compared to its predecessor, the 2003 16-speed transmission, this model features several key technical improvements. It incorporates a double countershaft design with large-capacity dual-cone full synchronizers, as well as a full-tooth finite element optimization design. The main gear box, combined with a front and rear auxiliary box, adopts a three-stage structural configuration. The front auxiliary box uses a half-speed gear mechanism with pre-selected air shifting, while the rear auxiliary box employs a dual-shift mechanism that allows automatic gear switching during operation.
With high technological content, excellent cost-performance ratio, a compact gear ratio, smooth shifting, and strong adaptability, the 16JS200T offers an advanced and optimized solution for upgrading heavy-duty vehicles. Its wide range of compatible components further enhances its appeal in the global market, making it a popular choice among both domestic and international customers.
Currently, the 16JS200T is primarily targeting the international market, with over 1,000 units already ordered from Europe alone. This model has become one of Fast's key export products, contributing significantly to the company’s global sales growth.
