On April 25, 2006, the 16JS200T heavy-duty vehicle transmission, independently developed by Shaanxi Fast Group, rolled off the production line in Xi’an. The event was attended by Professor Guo Konghui, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with officials from the Shaanxi Provincial Government, who all expressed their congratulations and support for this significant milestone.
The 16JS200T is a newly developed product tailored to meet both domestic and international market demands. Compared to the earlier 2003 model, it features numerous technical advancements. It incorporates a dual countershaft design with large-capacity double-cone full-synchronizers and fully toothed finite element optimization. The main housing, along with the front and rear auxiliary boxes, forms a three-stage combined structure. The front auxiliary box uses a half-speed gear mechanism with pre-selection via pneumatic control, while the rear auxiliary box employs a dual-shift system that allows automatic gear switching during operation.
This advanced transmission offers high technological content, excellent cost-performance, a wide range of gear ratios, smooth shifting, and strong adaptability. It provides an optimized configuration for upgrading heavy-duty vehicles and has gained popularity in both domestic and international markets.
Currently, the 16JS200T is primarily targeting the global market, with over 1,000 units ordered just from Europe. It has become one of Fast's key products driving export revenue. With its reliable performance and innovative design, the 16JS200T is setting new standards in the heavy-duty transmission industry and reinforcing Fast's position as a leading player in the global automotive sector.
