At approximately 12:30 PM on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Bartlett Fire Protection District (IL) was called to a reported house fire at 223 Buckingham Court. Bartlett Engine 2 arrived first on scene and found heavy smoke and fire on both the first and second floors. An interior attack was immediately initiated. I arrived at 12:53 PM and found significant fire in the attic, with crews being evacuated from the building. Bartlett Tower Ladder 3 was deployed to knock down the fire in the attic. The fire was brought under control within about an hour.
