At around 12:30 PM on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Bartlett Fire Protection District (IL) was called to a house fire at 223 Buckingham Court. Bartlett Engine 2 arrived first and found heavy smoke and flames on the first and second floors. An interior attack was immediately initiated. I arrived at 12:53 PM and saw intense fire in the attic, with crews being evacuated from the structure. Bartlett Tower Ladder 3 was used to knock down the fire in the attic. Within about an hour, the fire was fully under control.
