Box Alarm in Glen Ellyn on May 9th, 2014

Here’s a quick update from John Tulipano:

Just a few quick shots from the box alarm in Glen Ellyn today at 503 Duane Street. Fire companies responded quickly and made a knock on the fire. The fire was confined to one room on the third floor, in the rear of a 3-story building that's a mixed-use commercial space with apartments above. One civilian was taken to Loyola for evaluation.

Working Fire in Bloomingdale on May 9th, 2014

Another report from John Tulipano:

This was the second fire of the day. I wish I had seen more smoke and flames, but the fire started in a hot water heater flue inside a void space on the first floor and spread upward. It was a 3-story apartment building, 50x75 feet, fully occupied. Firefighters knocked it down quickly with just one line.
