2-11 Alarm fire in Chicago, 9-8-24

Here's a firsthand account from Eric Haak:

A structure fire was reported around 0715 hours, followed by a 2-11 incident on Sunday morning, September 8th, in Chicago’s 19th Battalion. Engine Company 54 took the lead on the second floor, tackling the bulk of the heavy fire. As companies advanced, the flames had already spread to the third floor and were blowing out the front of the building. Firefighters deployed a RAM unit and several hand lines from the exterior, quickly bringing the fire under control. A tower ladder and snorkel were set up but it seems they weren’t needed during the operation.
