The germination test result should be the response to germination ability of the seed under optimal conditions. A variety of germination test temperatures are not uniform throughout the country, and sometimes there are differences in results. In order to seek the best germination test temperature and explore the differences and rationality of the three germination test temperature recommended by the new protocol, the germination box study was conducted to investigate the effect of germination temperature on cotton seed vigor.

The seed germination box test compared the germination of cotton seeds at different temperatures, and photon and coating had strong adaptability to low temperature stress, and the adaptability of wool to low temperature stress was relatively weak. Especially the low vigor level of Maozi is more affected by low temperature, germination power and germination rate are significantly reduced. Seed germination usually has the lowest, most suitable, and highest three temperatures. At the lowest germination temperature, seeds can start to germinate, but they are very slow and require a long time; under the optimum temperature conditions, the seeds can germinate quickly and well.

In practice, the temperature of the three germination tests recommended in the germination box in the protocol can be used, but the germination test should last until 12 days, which is the last number of days specified by the protocol. In addition, the granularity and moisture of the sand bed also affect the germination of the seeds. Excessive grit or excessive moisture are not conducive to the normal germination of the seeds. In the optimum temperature range, the seed germination box has the effect of increasing seedling height and root length. 30 °C is most conducive to the growth of seedlings, 20 ~ 30 °C temperature is most conducive to the growth of young roots.

Since the SMC is a fast curing system, the quick closing of the press is important. If the press is closed too slowly after feeding, it is easy to appear pre-cured patch on the surface of the product, or it may be short of material or oversized. While achieving rapid closure, the mold closing speed should be carefully adjusted at the end of the press stroke to slow down the closing process and facilitate the exhaust.

The simple shape of the product requires only 25-30Mpa of molding pressure; the shape of the complex product, molding pressure can reach 140-210Mpa.
