The alpine calibration trial covers 8 models, 3 sets of Chaochai 485, two passengers and one cargo, one Chaochai 4102-C3A bus, three NGD models and one Chaochai 4 model. Prior to this, in order to ensure the smooth completion of these new vehicles, the Zhachai Technical Center had already made several rounds of preparation meetings to discuss vehicle preparation and plans for the winter test, and the Dangchao Application Engineering Department and the sales company’s bus department actively contacted the car manufacturers. The alpine test is an important calibration content of the electronically controlled engine. The main purpose is to improve the cold start performance of the electronically controlled engine under high-cold conditions, driving performance under cold start, and emission performance after starting. Also because of the harsh environmental conditions required by the experiment, Chaochao must choose Heihe as a test vehicle calibration site. Only through the assessment of the low-temperature calibration test can the adaptability and reliability of the vehicle in any other low-temperature area be ensured.

The task of calibrating the firewood is also very onerous. The calibration team must not only independently complete all calibration tasks for all new models, including the cold start of the vehicle, smoke limitation, drivability, noise, etc., but also cooperate with Bosch. Chaochai 485 matched the Bosch system's LPC hydraulic test and the ECU hardware's various low-temperature inspections and assessments. Therefore, the calibration personnel carried out a large number of cumbersome data tests and sorting every day during the busy and busy period.

At present, the North Korea diesel calibration task is still in progress, all models can be successfully started above -27 °C, individual models can start successfully at -30 °C, but also need to optimize the data and challenge the lower temperature.
