Dynisco LLC, a sensor and control instrument extrusion manufacturer based in Franklin, Mass., is preparing to accelerate its development in Asia through a series of localization initiatives, especially in China.
At the recent China International Rubber and Plastics Exhibition held in Shanghai, the company launched a number of products designed specifically for China and other new products.
Song Jiazhi, regional sales manager for Asia Pacific at Dynisco Plastics Division, said that the V-series, which is a net melt pressure sensor and electronic package for plastic extruders, was produced at the plant in Viatran, Malaysia.
Song Jiazhi said that the Malaysian plant will begin production of the V-Series this year, which will shorten delivery time to Asian customers, better respond to their needs and reduce costs.
According to the company, the V-Series has a wide selection of the most common pressure ranges, outputs, and configurations, which can effectively compete with less-expensive local sensors.
Matthew Carrara, Dynisco's vice president of plastics, said: "As of now, we have introduced standard products that combine the advanced features that are only required in the high-end market. The V-Series has been specifically adapted to the specific needs of Chinese customers, regardless of price. It's still quite competitive in terms of performance."
