This centrifuge is used for intermittent discharge of solids while separating two immiscible liquid phases of different densities. The machine features a horizontal drive shaft with clutch and brake, worm gear, lubricating oil bath, and vertical bowl spindle. The bowl is mounted on top of the spindle inside the frame structure. All parts in contact with the process liquid are made of stainless steel. The bowl uses a hydraulic system for solid ejection, and the motor is variable frequency drive or controlled torque type.
