Instrumentation grounding regulations:

1. Instrument grounding system is divided into two kinds of protective grounding and working ground. Grounding is very important for suppressing interference signals, ensuring measurement accuracy, protecting personal and equipment safety, and ensuring high and stable output.

2. Protective grounding and electrical grounding system connected to the network, the general grounding resistance ≤ 4Ω.

3. Working grounding, including signal loop grounding, grounding shield and intrinsically safe system. The grounding of signal loop and shielding grounding are connected with the grounding system of instrument system. The resistance of grounding meets the standards of manufacturer. When an intrinsically safe grounding system is set up independently, the independent intrinsic safety grounding pole and the grounding system or other grounding system Distance ≥5.0m, grounding resistance ≤1Ω or in line with the manufacturer's standard.

4. The cable shield should be grounded at one end of the control room, connected to the grounding bus of the instrumentation, and the signal shield should be continuous throughout the cable connection.

5. Grounding wire stranded with multiple strands, using crimp connection.

6. The ground wire insulation sheath color should be yellow-green and white, both sides of the plate should indicate the type of grounding.
