Just after the Lantern Festival in 2012, a production adjustment plan was passed from the Guangzhou Petrochemical Planning and Operation Department to the Chemical Dispatching Department of the Production Scheduling Department.
After receiving the notice, Cui Lianfeng, director of the Chemical Dispatching Department, immediately issued production scheduling instructions, organized and formulated new production balances and material balances, coordinated the upstream and downstream devices to adjust production loads, and made arrangements for entering and leaving the relevant materials.
High-density polyethylene injection molding plastic DMDB-8916 is a high value-added new product developed by Guangzhou Petrochemical in 2011. The performance index has reached the level of similar imported products, and the quality is stable, easy to process and shape, and it is favored by users. According to the plan, the output of DMDB-8916 in February was 3,000 tons, but the customer temporarily requested an additional 1,500 tons. The Guangzhou Petrochemical Planning and Management Department immediately adjusted production planning arrangements to fully meet customer needs.
“At present, the market price of DMDB-8916 is 700 yuan more per ton than ordinary products, which is a profitable product. Although the production operation is difficult, the method is always more difficult than the difficulty. As long as everyone works together, there is no problem that cannot be solved.†Liao Baoxing, general dispatcher of the chemical industry area said. Guangzhou Petrochemical has solved the problems such as large switching span, large amount of transitional materials, large fluctuations in operating temperature, and high-precision plugging of fine powder during the production process. During the production period, the technicians perform monitoring 24 hours a day and are careful to operate without neglecting any slight changes in the production process. Analytical laboratories, electrical instruments, and equipment overhaul and other personnel fully cooperate to timely deal with the problems encountered in production and ensure the safety, stability, and high-load operation of the device during production of high-density products.
As of February 18, Guangzhou Petrochemical completed the production of 1,500 tons of DMDB-8916 products in advance, not only satisfying the market demand for the product, but also creating more than 100 million yuan of benefits for Guangzhou Petrochemical.
