China's agricultural machinery manufacturing industry will welcome the development of the golden period in the future

China's agricultural machinery manufacturing industry will welcome the development of the golden period in the future Chen Xiwen, deputy head of the Central Rural Work Leading Group, stated that the Central Document No. 1 will continue to focus on agriculture in 2013, and agricultural mechanization is one of the key support directions.

The development of the agricultural machinery industry is good. It is reported that during the ten years from 2003 to 2012, the central government's total investment in agriculture, rural areas, and farmers exceeded 6 trillion yuan. In terms of total amount, the central government's investment in agriculture, rural areas, and farmers increased from 244.4 billion yuan in 2003 to this year’s. 1.228 trillion yuan, more than doubling; in terms of speed, the central government's investment in agriculture, rural areas, and farmers has grown at an average annual rate of 21%, which is higher than the average annual growth of fiscal expenditure by 4.5% over the same period; in terms of proportion, the central government has The proportion of investment in agriculture as a percentage of fiscal expenditure increased from 13.7% to 19.2%, reaching nearly 1/5. In the next decade, China will continue to vigorously develop agriculture. Accompanied with the acceleration of urbanization in China, China's agricultural machinery industry will usher in another decade of gold development.

According to Chen Zhi, president of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, from January to November 2012, China's machinery industry completed a total industrial output value of 16.63 trillion yuan, and achieved sales revenue of 16.24 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.2% and 12.04% year-on-year, respectively. The increase over the same period was 13.4 percentage points lower. At present, the decline in the growth rate of China's machinery industry has basically bottomed out. In 2012, the production and sales of the machinery industry is expected to increase by 12%. Among them, the growth rate and benefits of the agricultural machinery industry are superior to those of other machinery manufacturing industries, and they perform well. The total output value of the agricultural machinery industry is expected to reach around 310 billion yuan throughout the year, and China is still the world's largest agricultural machinery market.

The statistics released by the China Association of Agricultural Machinery Industry show that from January to November 2012, the total industrial output value of agricultural machinery enterprises above designated size reached 283.259 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.61%, and the total output value of the agricultural machinery industry is expected to reach 310 billion yuan for the whole year. About the world's largest agricultural machinery market status does not change. In the first ten months of the year, the total profit of agricultural machinery enterprises above designated size reached 13.91 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.14%. Due to the adjustment of the national statistical system, the number of enterprises in the statistical industry above designated size changed from 1912 in 2011 to 1864 last year. In 2012, the total output value of China's agricultural machinery industry increased by 19%, which was lower than the industry growth of 34.1% in 2011.

In the first ten months of the previous year, China's agricultural machinery enterprises completed a total of US$7.297 billion worth of exports, an increase of 9.87% year-on-year. Among them, the cumulative export volume of the combine harvester increased by 42.01%, the import value increased by 130.49%, and imports of large harvesters such as cotton pickers increased rapidly.

From the point of view of various industries of the agricultural machinery industry, the industries with the top three main income sources are, in turn, mechanized agriculture and garden machinery (including harvesters), tractors, and agricultural machinery parts. Agricultural machinery parts occupy a very important position in the industry. Among the 12 sub-sectors, the increase in the profit of feed machinery, animal husbandry machinery, and parts manufacturing was ranked in the top three, showing a very good development trend.

If calculated by the proportion of output value, Shandong Province ranks first, Henan Province ranks second, and Jiangsu Province is the third. If calculated according to the proportion of export delivery value, Jiangsu Province becomes the leader. These three places are the most concentrated, most active, and most competitive areas in the agricultural machinery industry.

In recent years, with the rapid development of China's agricultural machinery market, many foreign-funded enterprises have accelerated their entry into the Chinese market. According to Chen Zhi, the weight of foreign companies in the industry in 2012 further increased. There are 147 foreign-funded enterprises above designated size in the industry, accounting for 7.97% of the total number of industry-scale enterprises. Their total industrial output value accounts for 12.06% of the total industry, and export delivery value accounts for 54.86%. The scale of assets and employees of foreign-funded enterprises increased more than other enterprises, but their economic benefits were below the industry average in 2012.

The big tractor is a bright spot It is reported that the new urbanization in the next decade will promote the urbanization of farmers, thereby accelerating the contiguous production of rural land and the shift of agricultural production methods to intensification. This will increase the degree of mechanization of large-scale agricultural machinery, and the main body of agricultural machinery will also shift toward specialization. In 2012, the total output value of the agricultural machinery industry reached 310 billion yuan, and the comprehensive mechanization rate of agricultural cultivation and harvesting reached 57%. However, there is still much room for improvement.

Of the three major grain crops, only wheat basically completes the mechanization process. In 2012, the corn yield and rice seeding rate were only 40% and 30%, respectively. The economic crop yield is even lower. The yields of rapeseed, peanut and cotton in 2009 were only 8.84%, 18.02% and 2.81% respectively. This will bring a huge market space for the tractor industry, and in 2012 the big tractor industry has become the biggest highlight of China's agricultural machinery development.

According to statistics from the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, data from the tractor industry in January-November 2012 show that high-powered tractors continue to be the highlight of the year, and industry exports are still growing.

According to statistics, from January to November 2012, the tractor industry achieved a total industrial output value of 78.144 billion yuan, and realized a sales value of 80.66 billion yuan, an increase of 2.72% and 5.53% respectively over the same period of last year. The ratio of production to sales was 103.22%. The value of export delivery was 5.074 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.16%. Among them, sales of large and medium-sized tractors were 345,000, down 1.25% year-on-year, and sales of small four-wheeled tractors and walking tractors were down 6.57% and 25.1% respectively year-on-year.

Among large and medium-sized tractors, 25-70 horsepower tractors sold 221,200 units, an increase of 2.79% year-on-year; tractors with more than 70 horsepower sold 122.1 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 7.3%; and tractors with more than 100 horsepower sold 52,200 units, an increase of 59.17%.

According to statistics, in the first 11 months, China exported 36,600 large and medium-sized tractors, an increase of 30.36% over the same period last year.

In 2012, the subsidies for agricultural machinery increased from 20 billion yuan planned at the beginning of the year to 21.5 billion yuan. Essence Securities said it expects that subsidies for agricultural machinery purchases will continue and increase in 2013. At the same time, the Central Document No. 1 will again focus on agriculture in 2013, which means that the domestic tractor industry will continue to show a good development trend.
