Chery: Zeng Cheng Electric Vehicle to Be Listed in the Second Half of this Year

The reporter learned from Chery New Energy Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. on the 29th that, as the first car company in China to control the electric vehicle technology of Zengcheng, the first Ruiqi M1-REEV pure electric vehicle has officially unveiled at the 14th Shanghai International Auto Show, which is expected to increase. The program electric car will be fully listed in the second half of this year.

The cruising range has always been a weakness in the development of electric vehicles. In 2010, Chery Autonomous successfully developed the first range-enhanced Ruiqi M1-REEV pure electric vehicle, designed a variety of optional driving modes for consumers, broke the "phobia" of electric vehicle cruising range, and completely eliminated Consumers are concerned about the cruising range. The Ruiqi M1 extension electric vehicle is equipped with a 15-kilowatt mileage booster, which allows the vehicle to have a maximum range of more than 350 kilometers.

According to reports, Raychem M1-REEV uses a range-extending system for rotary engines. The system uses highly integrated design, intelligent control and other technologies. Due to the adoption of a rotary engine as a power source for the range extender, the entire vehicle has the advantages of low noise, low vibration, low fuel consumption, high efficiency, and multiple fuels while traveling.

According to Zeng Lingpeng, deputy general manager of Chery New Energy Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., since March of this year, Chery’s new energy pure electric vehicles have achieved mass production. The vehicles sold include Ruiqi M1 and QQ, two pure electric vehicles, and BSG and ISG. For hybrid vehicles, it is expected that the production and sales volume of Chery’s new energy vehicles will reach 3,000 to 5,000 vehicles this year.
