U.S. Automobile Industry Action Group Supports China's Automobile Industry Supply Chain

Recently, the famous non-profit automotive trade association, the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), announced recently that the group is stepping up its Asian plans to support the automotive industry supply chain in China. The group has decided to open a representative office in Shanghai and appoint a distinguished scientist and Dr. Chen Yilong, a pioneer in the US automotive industry's pioneering business in China, to lead the project. Dr. Chen Yilong will serve as the general manager of AIAG's Asia Pacific affairs and chief representative in China.

It is reported that AIAG members include DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor, General Motors and other major auto companies and other auto parts suppliers. These companies are rapidly developing their businesses in China. At the same time, China's auto industry OEMs and parts suppliers are also eager to improve their quality and export capabilities.
