·Special rubber for green tire project support

Recently, the key technology development project of domestic soluble polystyrene-butadiene rubber in green tires was successfully established, and it was supported by the independent innovation and achievement transformation project of Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province.

It is understood that the project was jointly developed by 800 million rubber companies and Qingdao University of Science and Technology. In order to promote independent innovation and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, Zaozhuang Science and Technology Bureau and Finance Bureau launched a special plan for independent innovation and achievement transformation.

Through the implementation of “production, study and research” collaborative innovation, the project will complete the development of domestically produced solution styrene butadiene rubber for low rolling resistance, high wear resistance and fuel saving green tire technology. The rolling resistance and wet skid resistance of this green tire have reached the relevant European level requirements, breaking through the green technical barriers set by the EU.

According to Tire World Network, 800 million rubber companies are affiliated to Shandong Energy Zaozhuang Mining Group. In October this year, the company produced a total of 201,000 all-steel tires and sold 162,000 pieces, a record monthly production and sales.
