Among them, the sales volume in December alone reached 12,000 units; the cumulative sales of Changan Star's single brand exceeded 1 million units.

After Xu Changping, chairman and president of Chang'an Group, took office, he decided to establish Changan Automobile as the first brand of China's mini vehicle. In the "Three Actions and One Project" promoted by the Chang'an Group in 2007, the first is the "Swords Action", which is the Changan Micro-Vehicle Comprehensive Promotion Plan. According to Song Jia, general manager of Chang'an Auto Sales Co., the new generation of Changan Stars launched in 2007 not only refreshes the historical record of single-species sales of new Changan products in the year, but also creates a miracle of single-species sales in China's micro-vehicle industry. . According to Xu Liuping, in 2008, Changan Group's vehicle sales target was to exceed one million vehicles, of which micro vehicle sales would reach 450,000, and a number of new generations of micro-vehicles would be available, further embodying Changan’s “micro-based” approach. strategy.
