Nine national car brands enter Syria


Yesterday, the China Machinery Industry Association and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade announced in Beijing that the China Auto International (Syria) tour has started. On April 20th, China National Machinery Industry Association will take the lead in the domestic automobile backbone enterprises of China National FAW Group, Dongfeng Automobile, Beiqi Futian and other nine national brands, went to Syria to negotiate business and tour exhibitions, and made every effort to enter the Middle East Syrian market.

It is reported that since 1995, the China International Automobile Tour has gone through three sessions. In addition to the first session in China, two sessions started in 2003 in Vietnam and Cambodia, and traction with FAW, Dongfeng, Changan, etc. entered the local market, with Japan and South Korea Auto Start the competition.

Zhang Xiaozheng, the vice president of the Chinese Machinery Industry Association, said that China’s automobile exports exceeded imports for the first time in 2005, and China has become a world-class automobile manufacturing country. Simply relying on the domestic market can no longer meet the development of the automotive industry.

From a global perspective, the future automobile market growth comes from emerging markets. The growth momentum in the Middle East, West Asia, North Africa, and Eastern Europe is rapid. Zhang Xiaoxuan said that he chose to expedite Syria this time and he intended to use Syria as a bridgehead for China to enter the Asian and European markets.
