Former Peotone FPD squad for sale (more)

More from Danny Nelms about the former Peotone FPD unit now up for sale:

A post shared on the Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus of America (SPAAMFAA) provided some interesting details about the history of this vehicle:

Originally from Ardmore, Pennsylvania;

ALF 700 TDA, Huber Heights, OH. A 1984 Pierce Arrow retractor/refurb, Job # F1271.
 In 1995, the tractor was refitted with an Ideal Beverage body and later upgraded again in 2000 by RPI before being sold to Peotone, Illinois.

Before the current owner, it was used by a company called Qualified Spill Response, which eventually went out of business. It looks like the current owner picked it up when the company folded.

Two apron shots from Joel D. Bain.

A tiller action shot and side profile from Garrett Buttelwerth.

Last photo of ALF 700 from the William Schreiber collection.

All photos were taken during its service in Huber Heights, OH.
