Elburn receives new Alexis Squad

Alexis Fire Equipment recently delivered a brand-new fire apparatus to the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District. The fire truck features a Spartan Gladiator Classic MFD cab with a 10-inch raised roof, offering enhanced visibility and comfort for the crew. Squad 301 boasts a 20-foot walk-around body with roll-up doors, making it ideal for various emergency scenarios. Atop the body, a Wil-Burt light tower is installed, providing powerful illumination for nighttime operations or hazardous conditions. The new unit will replace an older 1990/1985 Ford/McCoy Miller MDR, marking a significant upgrade in both technology and performance for the department. This modern apparatus reflects the commitment of Elburn and Countryside FPD to maintaining a well-equipped and responsive fire department.
