· Cummins China pioneered diesel engine vehicles

The CCTV documentary "New Revolution in the Engine" tells the story of the engine, from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the extreme peak race known for its long game time, showing the world's diesel engines in various extreme conditions for 120 years. Constant challenges and technological innovations.

Cummins, as the world's leading manufacturer of power equipment and a company with a history of nearly 100 years of diesel engine production, pioneered diesel engine vehicles. Today, let's review the history of Cummins' development.

On February 3, 1919, Cummins Engine Company was formally established. Mr. William Granton Irvine, a successful banker and investor in Columbus, Indiana, provided venture capital. The founder of the same name as the company, Claysey Lyle Cummins, is a self-taught mechanical inventor. In 1919, Cummins produced the first 6-horsepower, 4-cylinder Hvid engine for stationary power. With the help of a former Hvid engine engineer, Nudson, Clacy began to design the engine. Soon, he invented an unprecedented single-disc fuel system. He is very clear that developing a fuel engine requires not only a large amount of money, but also a low probability of success.

Unsurprisingly, the company quickly saw a fiscal deficit. Cummins has made some improvements to this engine, but it still has many flaws. The farmers bought the machine home and returned the machine before the refund period promised by the retailer. Two months later, the Great Depression that swept the United States led to a sharp economic downturn, and Cummins’ main business, the ship engine market, began to shrink.

However, it was because of the unique creativity of Claysey that the company was pulled back from the brink of bankruptcy. He put a diesel engine on an old Packard limousine. On Christmas Day 1929, he drove the first diesel car in the United States with Mr. Elvin to go for a ride, trying to convince Elvin to continue investing with the good performance of the diesel car. This bet-style approach saved Cummins. With the infusion of Mr. Elvin's new funds, Claysey is determined to promote the new concept of diesel engine cars. Together with Desenberg, he created the highest speed record for diesel engine cars at Dayton Beach. In 1931, the Cummins team traveled 13,535 miles at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, again creating a new endurance record.

The fuel economy and durability of these prototypes were favored by some truck drivers and fleet managers who began to modify Cummins engines on their vehicles. By the late 1950s, Cummins had annual sales of more than $100 million, making it a leader in the production of heavy-duty truck diesel engines.

If the birth of a diesel engine has become a powerful engine for the development of human productivity, then there is no doubt that Mr. Claysey Lyle Cummins has created an era. What he left for us is not just a vibrant engine company with a long history of more than 80 years. Paying attention to every footprint that Cummins has gone through, we can clearly feel a never-ending pioneering and innovative spirit; it is this unremitting pioneering and innovation that has laid a strong technical strength for Cummins. This vigorous giant discovers and explores the needs of the times with a high sense of responsibility for the future, and positions itself in this evolving era with an open vision. At the same time, Cummins's innovation and strength continue to create one after another dazzling brilliance for the future.

As a joint venture of Cummins in China, Dongfeng Cummins has been committed to engine technology innovation, hoping to meet new challenges and lead the Chinese engine to make more profound changes.

Fischer Tropsch Wax

Fischer-Tropsch wax can be used in plastic processing, such as injection molding, extrusion and pelletizing industries. In the production process of masterbatch and modified plastics, Fischer-Tropsch wax contributes to the dispersion of fillers and excellent smoothness during mixing. It can be used as an external lubricant for PVC. The low viscosity can increase the production speed of the product. It helps to disperse the pigments and fillers during mixing. It is especially useful in the extrusion of high-viscosity systems. It is more than ordinary PE WAX. 40-50% less, and can significantly improve the surface gloss of the product. When using intense colors, the melted Fischer-Tropsch wax can effectively wet the dye and reduce the extrusion viscosity.

When used in the ink as a particulate powder, it can improve the wear resistance and wrinkle resistance of the applied material. When applied to the coating, it can have a wrinkling effect, and when used in a micro powder state, it can form a wrinkle effect of stripes and water lines. When powder coating resin is added, it plays a role of lubrication in the extrusion process, which can reduce screw torque, reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency.
